Welcome to the AP Perspective, the personal website for Andrew Portolese.

I am a college student currently enrolled in the Information Science and Technology Bachelor of Science. I was an honors student through out highschool. I am interested in any type of technology, how they work, and how I can make them work for me. I have been scripting and programming for a long time. I learned how to program in BASIC when I was about 8 years old, working with MS DOS and the QBASIC program. From there I quickly moved on to Visual Basic. I then learned html, css and php. I have taken the AP Java test in highschool as well as college level programming courses. I am always in the process of learning new programming languages, but I often find myself running out of time during the day between school, working, learning new stuff, and hanging out with friends.

I have spent a large amount of time learning and exploring linux. I have setup multiple file servers, webservers, game servers etc. My favorite distrobution is probably Arch Linux because it lets you have complete control over the installation of your linux OS.

In the Portfolio page, you will see links to multiple websites that I have created or worked with. Some are still online others are not unfortunately.

On the Contact page you can contact me via a simple web form.

On the Current Projects Page you can see a list of the current projects that I am working on, with a short description for each one.

The Older projects page, which is currently under construction, contains information about older projects and hobbies that I worked on, and related information.

If you are in need of a web programmer/designer, look no further.I can work in PHP, mySQL, HTML, and basic javascript. No matter how big or small your job is, please feel free to contact me.
